Manchester United was not one of the biggest clubs when they were formed and played for the first time or so, the club was not rated a good club. Nobody ever thought that the club will reach such high stakes and win all the glory.
It came in the highlight when the Munich air Crash happened... there were fans who lived in Manchester that time.
The whole world changed, people started believing in the club! Sir Alex was appointed as the manager and he bought new players like C.Ronaldo,Wayne Rooney,Cantona etc. and from here the following followed :

2009/10 - Sell Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid for £80m. Win Carling Cup.
2010/11 - Win Barclays Premier League title, reach Champions League final.
